Reebok 9K Pump Ice Hockey Skates @ www.hockeyprostore.com

The Reebok 9K Pump Ice Hockey Skate offers great performance for intermediate level of play and recreational use at an excellent value.

The Performance stainless steel runner mounted onto the e-holder is a one piece design so you won’t be able to exchange the runners out.

The outsole on the Reebok 9K Skates is a low profile injected outsole which is a little rigid allowing for some good feeling throughout every stride but still somewhat soft so it would be a good skate for someone that is just getting comfortable on their skates. Reebok also added some vents to the9K Skates outsole which help release the moister keeping your feet dryer.

The 9K Pump Ice Hockey Skates feature a synthetic PU Quarter Package which offers good durability and some protection and will give you some good response through every stride. The Dynamic Support System (DSS) runs around the back of the 9K Hockey Skates and helps keep the structure of the boot as well as your heals locked in.

The Reebok 9K Pump Ice Hockey Skates are the lowest skate in the Reebok line which offers the Pump feature. The Pump allows you to adjust the fit around the back of the skate for an ultimate heal lock and great ankle support.

The Tendon Guard on the 9K Pumps is flexible which will give you maximum mobility around the top of the skate. The tongue on the Reebok 9KSkates features a 5mm felt backed with a thin layer of foam to give you some comfort as well as protection. It also features an insert lace bite protector and is very flexible.

The Reebok 9K Pump Ice Hockey Skates features two Liners. One Liner located around the sides and is a moisture wicking heavy duty microfiber liner the other liner is located around the back and is a heavy duty  gripping microfiber liner to help with a better heal lock.

Reebok 20K Pump Ice Hockey Skates Review

Reebok 20K Pump Ice Hockey Skates

The Reebok 20K Pump Ice Hockey Skates are the premier skates from Reebok for 2012.  The Runner on the Reebok 20K Pump Ice Hockey Skates is made from high grade performance steel with a scalloped blade design which reduces the weight and allows for a little flex as well to give you a quicker turning radius into those turns and cuts. The same EPro Holder allows for great performance as well.  The Outsole on the Reebok 20K Pump Ice HockeySkates is very rigid so you’ll get good energy transfer through your stride and is made from a carbon fiber composite which makes it really lightweight. They also added a couple of more copper rivets to help keep it more secure to the boot.  The Quarter Package on the Reebok20K Pump Ice Hockey Skates features the Max Armour™ V. This is a multi-layered package reinforced with metal mesh and embedded, is abrasive resistant and adds a little more flex. The DSS (Dynamic Support System) found wrapped all the way around the back of the Reebok 20K Pump Ice Hockey Skates features a flexion zone which is an embedded composite zone. The fibers which are oriented at a 45⁰ provide excellent support, but at the same time help control forward flex. The second part of the DSS is the spinal zone which is also an embedded composite zone, however the fibers in this zone are oriented at a 90⁰ and 0⁰ which allows for maximum heal lock. The Quarter Package construction makes these skates heat moldable, which adds to the already great amount of customization that this skate offers and means shorter break in time. On the Reebok 20K PumpIce Hockey Skates Reebok decided to move the top 3 eyelids forward a little to give you a better wrap up top as well as a little more flex. The Reebok 20KPump Ice Hockey Skates have a generous fit profile, but are armed with The Pump® technology which allows airflow around the ankles for a great heal lock and customized fit.  The Pump® was moved further toward the back of the skate to give it direct airflow into the bladders. Reebok also gave The Pump® itself a little more protection around it. The Achilles heel support on the back of the Reebok 20K Pump Ice Hockey Skates used to be bent forward in a more aggressive stance. They decided to change it to be a little more relaxed so that you will have a better range of motion around the top of the skate. The Reebok 20K Pump Ice Hockey Skates feature a Skate Lock lacing system which allows you to tighten the lower portion and upper portion of the laces independently for a nice customized fit. The tongue on the Reebok20K Pump Ice Hockey Skates is a two piece tongue which features a Pro Felt and thick EPE Foam to give you comfort ability, durability and protection all in one. The molded Lace bite guard runs down the tongue and is designed to minimize tongue twist. It is also segmented to give great flexibility. The Liner on the Reebok 20K Pump Ice Hockey Skates features a Duratex grip for added durability and better heel lock and Clarino which is an excellent moisture wicking material to keep your foot nice and dry. The Footbed has a nice thin profile that allows for maximum energy transfer and features the Griptonite coating around the heal section to give you some more added heal lock.

Reebok 12K Pump Ice Hockey Skates Review

Reebok 12K Pump Ice Hockey Skates

The Reebok K skate series was designed to maximize power transmission while providing a customized fit that enhances the skaters stride. The dynamic support system or DSS is evident throughout the series and refers to the ideal skate construction which optimized flexibility and stiffness. The Reebok12K Pump® Ice Hockey Skate has a generous fit profile and it incorporates the redesigned Pump® technology. Reebok moved the Pump® slightly toward the Achilles tendon to get better air flow into the bladders and keeping it out of harm’s way. This allows air to circulate around the ankles for great heal lock and a customized fit. Reebok also did give The Pump® a sleeker look as the actual pump and release does not stick out as much, also giving The Pump® better protection around it. Reebok uses the Max Armour™ V construction in the quarter which is a multi-layered package with a high density foam core which offers a decent amount of lateral support. The heavy duty microfiber liner promotes a long lasting durable skate. This quarter package construction allows the Reebok 12KPump® Ice Hockey Skates to be heat moldable which adds to the already great customization that the skate offers and drastically reduces break in time. The comfortable tongue is made of three components, felt, comfort foam and a lace bite protector. The Reebok 12K Pump Ice Hockey Skate uses a low profile vented injected outsole which is pretty common construction at this price point. The general fit aspects of the Reebok 12K Pump Ice Hockey Skate boot are med-high volume, med-wide heel pocket and med-wide across top of the foot and forefoot and toe box with a traditional stance. The Reebok 12K PumpIce Hockey Skate offers good performance and comfort as well as good value and is geared to the intermediate to advance level player.
